Royal Albert Hall – Auditorium & Stage Access Project

Kevin Kelly Architects is proud to continue its longstanding relationship with the iconic Royal Albert Hall. Having previously collaborated on projects in a former capacity, we are delighted to once again contribute to the Hall’s ongoing journey, this time focusing on the Auditorium and Stage Access.

This sensitive and technically complex project involves the careful integration of new access routes and lift strategies within the historic fabric of the building. Working closely with Wagner Biro, a highly collaborative design process was essential to ensure that the solutions aligned with the architectural heritage while meeting modern requirements. Given the high volume of use and public-facing nature of the auditorium, we adhered to particularly strict tolerances to achieve a seamless result.

Our approach reflects KKA’s commitment to blending innovative design with the historical integrity of the Royal Albert Hall, ensuring both functional excellence and continued heritage preservation.
