The Pilgrim Stones

We are very pleased to share that In partnership with Mind, the mental health charity and outdoor clothing & footwear brand Merrell, ‘The Pilgrim Stones’ by Kevin Kelly Architects has been selected as the winner of the The Beacon Project.

The competition was a quest to create the perfect temporary structure that will completely complement its remote natural surroundings and provide a peaceful haven away from the stresses and strains of modern life. An inspirational sanctuary, where people can be immersed in the natural world and spend time appreciating and benefiting from the restorative effects of the great outdoors.

We are delighted to have this opportunity to work with both MIND, and the iconic brand Merrell, to develop a truly unique retreat in the Shetland Islands.
